In this episode, I share how I rode my mountain bike to visit Angela and Vigen, my training host family who lives 40 miles away. I talk about the problems I had using map apps that weren’t always correct, dealing with steep hills, heavy traffic, and leg cramps during the trip there and back. Even with the difficulties, I kept going because I wanted to see my host family again. This episode shows the strong bonds made with host families during Peace Corps training, the beautiful and hilly countryside of Armenia, and the determination needed to reach goals as a volunteer. If you like hearing about my biking adventures across Armenia, stay tuned for more stories from my service next week!
